While persuing my Master's from Dalhousie University, I started my internship with Matrix-IFS and after graduation I was offered a full-time opportunity with Matrix-IFS. I have been working with Matrix-IFS as a full-time employee since April, 2021.

While I was employed at BNP Paribas India, I got the opportunity to travel to Unites States to receive training and work with some of the brightest minds at its US office in Jersey City. It was an eye opening experience for me and I realised how much potential I could unlock if I could get a Master's degree from a renowned North American University. Hence, I decided to quit my job and embark on a journey that will lead me to the prestigious Dalhousie University located at the heart of Halifax city in Canada. I discovered a coursework at the university which perfectly aligns with my professional experience and would not only help me elevate and polish my technical skills but also my interpersonal skills. I joined Dalhousie University in Sept 2019 and thanks to all the hardwork and support from my family and friends I graduated with a Master's in Applied Computer Science degree in Jan, 2021.

I joined BNP Paribas on Nov, 2015 as an ACTIMIZE developer, BNP Paribas is an international banking group with the head office in France and with a presence in 75 countries. I am responsible for gathering requirement from the business analyst and devlop technical design after thoroughly analyzing the requirements. I worked on multiple technologies including Java, sql, javascript, JQuery, VTL and related tools. I also have working experience on a wide variety of data analysis and visulization tools namely Tableau, JReport, Actimize Risk Case Manager, etc. At BNP Paribas I work in the Anti Money Laundering unit responsible for reporting suspicious activity in corrospondent banking for North America region.We use a third party application called AML SAM solution which is provided by Actimize Inc., it is a wholly owned unit of NIC Systems, it provides financial crime prevention, compliance and risk management products and services to the financial services industry.

I joined Infosys Ltd. as fresher and I did not had much software development experience at the time, I was super excited to work in one of the leading software service providing companies in India. It was a memorable journey for me and I still remember the day when I received the offer letter inviting me to join the Infosys training program at its renowned Mysore campus in Karnataka. I have read a bunch of articles about this campus, It was like a university campus stretched across a vast region of 1.2 square kilometers. It has two huge buildings near the entrance called as GEC 1 & 2 (Global Education Center) which can altogether accommodate about 13500 trainees at a given time. In the morning you can see thousands of them marching towards these buildings & they disappear inside the buildings. During the working hours, while walking in the huge, silent & empty corridors, you can’t imagine that so many of them are in the same building.

Prime Focus Technologies Pvt. Ltd. was my first company and I had worked at Prime Focus for quite a short period of time probabaly three months. I joined Prime Focus as Trainee software developer and I had the priviledge to work with some of the best and greatest in the web developers and C# developers in the industry. I learned a lot about the ASP .Net and Microsoft Technologies, database architecture, system design and software architecture. I also worked on their inhouse ERP product used for provoiding cloud services to their clients. Overall, it was an awesome place to start my software development journey.
